There are now hundreds of ai tools for automation — RPA platforms with AI bolted on, agentic frameworks, no-code workflow builders, model orchestration platforms. Most teams pick wrong because they evaluate by feature list, not by job-to-be-done.
By job-to-be-done
- Document-heavy workflows (invoices, claims, contracts): document AI + workflow orchestration. Avoid pure RPA — too brittle.
- Cross-system data movement: an iPaaS plus AI for transformation. Don't reinvent.
- Customer-facing automation (support, sales): conversational AI on top of a real CRM. We build on TalkTaro for this.
- Knowledge worker copilots: domain-specific LLM applications, not horizontal copilots.
- Multi-step agentic tasks: still maturing — start narrow, bounded, with strong eval.
